When you ask people about themselves they will very often answer by telling you what they do rather than who they are. Our sense of identity is coloured by what we do. We are all lots of versions of ourselves: I’m a father or mother, a sister or brother, a son or daughter, a friend or an enemy, a doctor, lawyer, business person, entrepreneur, a sales person or teacher…. There is an endless variety to the roles we undertake.
Firstly lets set out some principles.
Everything we do in life is a choice and every choice has consequences. Not choosing is in fact a choice and that too has consequences.
If you do nothing, nothing will change. If there are areas of your life that you feel are less than great, it is your choice whether you do something about them or not. “If you always do what you have always done you will always get what you have always got”...
