"This book won Best in Self-Help/Inspirational, and after reading it, I can understand why.
Using her own story as a base, the author easily leads you along the pathways that she richly describes and illuminates. While many self-help books tend to tell you how easy a change can be, this author has a much more realistic approach. Early in the book, she talks about those who read vast amounts of self-help books or take the classes but whose lives stay the same. Because, no matter what you read or view, handing the responsibility of your change to someone else does not make it magically happen – YOU have to make the change. She later reinforces this thought with the section on “If You Want Things to Change, You Have to Do Something Different.”"
